इजराइल के इलियट में आयोजित 70वीं मिस यूनिवर्स के टॉप 3 में हरनाज के साथ दो और प्रतियोगी थीं जिनमें से एक पराग्वे से और दूसरी दक्षिण अफ्रीका की थी, जो क्रमशः द्वितीय और तृतीय स्थान पर रही।
अंतिम दौर में, प्रत्येक प्रतियोगी से एक जैसा प्रश्न पूछा गया था और जिसका उत्तर देने के लिए उनके पास 30 सेकंड का समय होगा।
सवाल यह था-
“What advice would you give to young women watching on how to deal with the pressures they face today” (आज के दबाव का सामना करने वाली युवतियों को आप क्या सलाह देंगे?).
साउथ अफ्रीका की प्रतिभागी ने जवाब दिया –
I would implore young women today to choose courage over comfort every opportunity they get I’d also like wang women to know that since the beginning of time, they’ve had anything everything rather within them to achieve anything they’ve wanted it was, unfortunately, the world that convinced us that we did not thank you.

Well I think the biggest pressure the youth of today is facing is to believe in themselves two know that you are unique and that what makes you beautiful stop comparing yourselves with others and let’s talk about more important things that’s happening worldwide I think this is what you need to understand come out speak for yourself because you are the leader of your life, you are the voice of your own I believed in myself and that’s why I’m standing here today thank you.
